OH LORD, BLESS THE WORK OF MY HANDS

Before I teach on this and we begin to dive into God’s word today – I’d like to establish some foundational truth that will make this message effective in your life and ultimatelly help you this year.
- Pay rapt attention and take everything I am about to teach you today seriously serious if you want to see results.
- Believe in the anointing of God upon my life and what He has asked me to share with you today otherwise there won’t be any result. – 2 Chron 20:20
Listen: Your prophet is for your profit! Your prophet is for your prosperity! – Ezra 5:1-2, 6:14 NKJV
Prophets are God’s agent of change and profit to you, but this profit only shows in the lives of those that believe and follow well! – Hosea 12:13 NKJV
Listen: God will never bring His people out of captivity, poverty and lack without sending a prophet. Until you identify that prophet and believe in their mandate, they cannot help you.
My mandate is simple: Help the needy, Help the poor, promote the gospel and return men back to their original identity through the light of Christ!
Every mandate is equipped and backed by the anointing of God to perform! So therefore if I am sent to help the needy and the poor that means the anointing to terminate poverty in the lives of men and make them prosper has been given to me!
FOR THIS TO WORK – YOU MUST UNDERSTAND 2 THINGS
- Understand the value and benefit of having a prophet over your life (Hold your prophet in high esteem)
- Understand the discipline for quality followership (DON’T BE FAMILIAR!) – You know why? Familiarity makes you see his humanity instead of his divinity. It makes you trivialize his prophetic instructions that can change your life and ultimately deactivates the anointing he carries that’s supposed to work for you!
Watch this: The same anointing that saved Peter couldn’t save Judas! They both betrayed Jesus but one was familiar while the other wasn’t. Judas never saw Christ as the son of God while Peter was the one that identified Him as the son of God.
Now, with that being said and established, I think we can dive into today’s message: – Deut 28:12
Listen: Every kingdom is governed by principles and laws, in order to realize and enjoy the benefits of that kingdom, these principles must be learnt and applied to trigger the blessings.
The first principle in this kingdom is:
- THE PRINCIPLE OF WORK – Deut 28:12 NIV …. And to bless all the work of your hands
For there to be a blessing, there must be a ‘working’ for the blesser to bless!
This was established by God from the very beginning of time – Gen 2:15 NIV
After God created man, the first thing He gave him was work to do! Why? Because God Himself is a worker! He worked and created the entire in 6 days and rested in the 7th day! So, if man is created in my image and likeness, they must work! It speaks of responsibility.
God expects us to work so that He can bless it. – Prov 6:6-11 AMP
Contrary to popular belief, work is not a curse or the product of the fall of man. Adam worked before he fell. After he fell, the curse was that his work would become fruitless and difficult. – Gen 3:17-19 NIV
But we aren’t under that curse anymore because of the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ – Gal 3 :13-14 TPT
Man fell at the garden, when Jesus wanted to redeem us, He went to the garden of gethsemane and in Luke 22:44, the bible said His sweat fell to the cursed ground as blood.
WHY? – God CURSED the ground and said we will sweat to eat from it so Jesus turned his sweat to His blood to pay the price so that the work of hands will be blessed and fruitful again!
- THE PRINCIPLE OF GOD’S COVENANT THAT TRIGGERS HIS BLESSING – Jer 33:19-21 AMP
The blessings of God are triggered by dedicated and diligent covenant practices.
Bishop Oyedepo said God told him and I quote “My son, My prosperity plan is not a promise, it does not answer to prayers neither does it have respect for fasting, it is a covenant and until your part is played, I am not committed to perform.
Listen: In order for Him to bless the work of your hands and prosper you beyond your imagination there a covenant practical conditions that must be fulfilled by you.
See, in every kingdom, the constitution is established by the king himself. He decides how the kingdom will function and this is not up for debate! His word is law and rebellion against his law is rebellion against the King! God is the King of our kingdom and He has expressly given us principles to adhere to in His constitution (The Bible) if we want His blessings.
CONDITIONS FOR HIS BLESSINGS:
- Obedience to His voice – Deut 28:1-2 NKJV, Isa 48:17-18 NET
Listen: Until you listen to God’s voice, you cannot become a voice to your generation
- Walking in His ways – Deut 28:9 -11 AMP, 1 Kings 3:3 NKJV
Listen: The ways of men are not the ways of God, He is only committed to specially bless those that chose to walk in His ways. This year decide to walk in His way!
- Carefully observe His covenant commands as it concerns His blessings – Deut 28:13 NKJV, Deut 30:8-10 NIV
WHICH COMMANDMENTS?
- The 1st fruit command – Proverbs 3:9-10 AMP
- The Tithe & offering command – Mal 3:8-11 AMP
FINAL QUESTION: WHY ARE WE DOING THIS TODAY?
Remember what I told you December 31st? that there are dark days ahead? Famine is coming, the world is going to experience FINANCIAL MELT DOWN! So, we are prophetically exempting ourselves from this impending global crisis! 2 advices as I close:
- This year invest in landed properties and fixed assets as God begins to bless you (Things that will still appreciate in the face of inflation) have multiple streams of income. – Eccl 11:1-2 NIV
- Invest in covenant practices to sponsor your physical investments – Eccl 11:2-6 AMP (Give to your biological and spiritual parents) Ours is already speaking for us January already!
Listen to me sir – I want to see you blessed that’s why I teaching you these things
Write this down: The disgrace of a bad father is to boost about what he has but the honor of a good father is to boost about what his son has!
That’s what God the father did with His son Jesus, He gave Him a name above every other name!
Hey! This year I will boost with you! RISE ON YOUR FEET!

PRAYERS:
Father in the name of Jesus, this year pour out Your spirit of favor upon this anointing oil and bless the work of my hands!
Father in the name of Jesus, this year as I observe covenant commands, give me the power to get wealth and bless the work of my hands!
