Today is our Light Mandate service and what we are simply doing today is to enforce the mandate that has been given to us as a commission.

Let me make this bold sovereign declaration as an agent and apostle of Light – IN THE NAME OF JESUS – YOUR LIGHT MUST SHINE!!

Now listen:

The mandate of light is the mandate of GOD Himself – 1 John 1:5

The mandate of light is as old as the very beginning

The mandate of light was enforced from the very beginning – Gen 1:1-3

So, when God said – let there be LIGHT! – It was a mandate!

He was literally saying: Let My Glory, My Presence, My Essence & My Kingdom Invade the earth!

LIGHT BE!

MY GLORY MANIFEST!!

The mandate of Light was initiated in Gen 1:3 to address three things – FORMLESSNESS, VOIDNESS & DARKNESS! – Gen 1:2

 

How can the earth be without form and void with darkness? How can your life be without form, void with darkness? Is our God an author of confusion and chaos? NO!  – From the beginning it wasn’t so! An enemy has done this, satan the enemy of God’s creation and the leader of darkness has done this!

Gen 1:2 – And the earth was without form and void, (Tohuw Bohuw). The earth was in a state of Tohu Bohu – that’s the Hebrew word and it literally means WASTE & EMPTY!

• To be without form is to exist without STRUCTURE and to live a WASTED LIFE!
• To be void is to be EMPTY and to live a PURPOSELESS LIFE!
• These two elements are powered by the kingdom of darkness!

 

But we are gathered here today by the spirit of God to address this nonsense because we have been given the MANDATE OF LIGHT!

 

Our Light mandate scripture: Act 13:47, Isa 42:6-7 (God’s Word Translation)

 

The Lord gave us the following order: ‘I have made you a light for the nations so that you would save people all over the world – Acts 13:47 GW

 

I, the Lord, have called you to do what is right. I will take hold of your hand. I will protect you.
I will appoint you as my promise to the people, as my light to the nations.
⁷ You will give sight to the blind, bring prisoners out of prisons, and bring those who live in darkness out of dungeons. – Isa 42:6-7 GW

The first thing I need you to note here is that, we were called and anointed by God to do this! (I, the Lord have called you, I will hold your hand! I will protect you!)

 

TO DO WHAT?

1. To give sight to the BLIND (Open blind eyes physically & spiritually)
2. To bring prisoners out of prison (Physically and spiritually)
3. To set free those who live in darkness – Matt 4:16

Now, let me explain why this is relevant by connecting it back to the TOHU BOHU agenda of satan that we saw earlier:

1. To give sight to the blind/open blind eyes – So that they might have light for direction and not live an EMPTY & PURPOSELESS LIFE!
2. To bring prisoners out of prison – So that their lives will not be WASTED, and without FORM!
3. To set free those who live in darkness – So that they are not ultimately DESTROYED by the kingdom of darkness

Guess what? These are the 3 missions/agenda of satan – John 10:10

• STEAL – To steal the sight/vision/insight of mankind not to know God
• KILL – To kill and imprison men so that can’t manifest the greatness of God
• DESTROY – To ultimately destroy the destinies of men with the power of darkness

Rise on your feet and take these PRAYERS!

1. Every power of darkness that wants to make my life empty and meaningless, by the mandate of light be terminated in the name of Jesus – 2 Sam 18:18
2. Every power of darkness that wants me to live a wasted life, by the mandate of light be wasted in the name of Jesus
3. Every power of darkness that wants to destroy my life, by the mandate of light be destroyed in the name of Jesus!

 

Now, that these have been addressed by the Light of Christ – we are mandated to SHINE: Matt 5:14,16

WHY DO WE NEED TO SHINE? – 1 Thes 5:5-9

 

1. To represent and reflect Christ on earth i.e. when men see us they see Christ
2. To eradicate darkness – Gen 1:1-3, Isa 60:1-2

If we don’t shine darkness will cover the earth again as it was in the beginning and that is satan’s plan!

3. To win and attract the right people to Christ – Isa 60:3

– Until your light becomes bright for the world to see, kings are not interested in you. Ie until you have evidence there are some important personalities that won’t listen to you (Queen of Sheba & Solomon)

Final Touch Light Prayer: John 1:5, Judges 7:15-22 NKJV

By the mandate of Light, from today darkness cannot comprehend my life, I am a mystery to the kingdom of darkness in the name of Jesus!

By the mandate of light, today in the name of Jesus, I enforce and shine my light – I cannot be hidden – MY LIGHT MUST SHINE!
