Message: THE POWER OF THANKSGIVING IN THE ALTAR OF PRAYER

Welcome to Transfiguration conference 2023, Day 4 it is a time when we gather at the mountain top to pray and ascend into realms of immortality.
Today is our thanksgiving and I would have you know that there is power in thanksgiving in the altar of prayer. Many times, when we go to God in prayer, we are quick to complain and ask for things. Father, why is my life like this? Father, give me this, Father – give me that. But what God really want to hear from us is the prayer of thanksgiving.
Listen: No matter how bad your life is right now, there is someone somewhere praying to be like you.
In the altar of prayer – the most potent and effective prayer is the prayer of thanksgiving.
When a man or a woman offers the prayer of thanksgiving, he or she is fulfilling and provoking the will of God. – 1 Thes 5:17-18
Thanksgiving is not an act; it is a lifestyle!
In this kingdom, we don’t give thanks because things are working
In this kingdom, no matter the situation we are to give thanks. Even when we experience setbacks!
Listen: A setback is a set up for a comeback! (Jesus’s death, burial & resurrection)
You are an arrow in the hands of God and for an arrow to be shot – it must be pulled back! So, when it looks like life is pulling you back – just know God is pulling you back so that He can launch you into greatness and prosperity!
BENEFITS OF THANKSGIVING
- It breaks the yoke of limitations – John 6:11
Through the prayer of thanksgiving, Jesus turned a not enough situation to a more than enough situation
- It breaks the yoke of death and restores – John 11:41-44
- Thanksgiving triggers the manifold blessings of God – Jer 30:19-22
