Message: WHEN MEN PRAY

Prayer is the greatest weapon given to a believer.

It is the fuel that drives a Christian vehicle.

Prayer is the food of the spirit.

A non-praying Christian is playing with his/her destiny.

In the school of prayer, there are 6 A’s that happen when we pray.

1. Ascension – Acts 10:9-11

When we pray, we ascend in the spirit.

Until you ascend, you cannot transcend.

Ascension in the altar of prayer is the runway to dimensions in God.

Those who ascend in prayer cannot descend in life and destiny.

2. Answers – Matt 7:7, Jeremiah 33:3, Isaiah 65:24

When we pray, we command answers to come down to earth – Matt 18:18, Matt 11:12

Elijah prayed till his answers came down – 1 Kings 18

3. Angels – Acts 12:5-7

When men pray, we provoke angelic assistance!

Angelic assistance can only be provoked by prayer because angels are ministering spirits – Heb 1:14

4. Atmosphere – Luke 9:29

Prayer provokes and creates a holy and heavenly atmosphere.

And your atmosphere determines your thermosphere (Demons can’t hang around that kind of atmosphere)

5. Authority – Luke 9:37-43

Prayer gives you authority over demons and devils.

Authority is different from power!

6. Ambience – Glory – 2 Chron 7:1-3

Prayer is one of the keys that brings down the glory of God!

The glory of God is what changes the stories of men.

PRAYERS:

1. Father in the name of Jesus, make me the answer to the question of my generation
2. Father in the name of Jesus give me answers tonight to my prayers
3. In the name of Jesus, I provoke angelic assistance in my life and destiny now
4. Father as I pray tonight – put authority in my mouth for signs and wonders
5. Glory of God rest on me as I pray in the name of Jesus
6. Father clothe me with Your glory now in the name of Jesus
