MESSAGE: O LORD ANSWER MY QUESTIONS!

Before I start ministering today let me give you 12 nuggets, that will help you 12 months of every year to become a champion.
- Life is an adventure, dare it
- Life is full of sorrow, overcome it
- Life is a duty, perform it
- Life is a game, play it
- Life is a mystery, unfold it
- Life is a song, sing it
- Life is a journey, complete it
- Life is a promise, fulfil it
- Life is a struggle, fight it
- Life is a goal, achieve it
- Life is a puzzle, solve it
- Life is a question, answer it!
Today is a lamentation and burden relief service, so get ready to pray. I have realized that in life everyone is carrying a burden, everyone is crying about something but too many times we don’t see them because of their outfits, make up and glam!
Ladies and gentlemen allow me to submit to you a few points this afternoon:
- Questioning God is not doubting God!
To question God and to doubt God are not the same! – Matt 7:7 – To ask is to question!
To question God is a sign of dependence on Him and desperation for a change BUT to doubt God is a sign of lack of faith and trust.
In Matt 27:46 – Jesus on the cross, questioned God out of frustration (My God My God why hast thou forsaken me)
- Questioning God is a sign of a burden – Hab 1:1
Sir/ma, until you carry a burden, you cannot change your life and make impact – Neh 1:3-4
Listen: Those who ask questions can never fail the examinations of life
Your life is a question given to you by God to answer, so anytime you are confused and don’t know what to do ask questions! – 1 Sam 30:8 (Shall I pursue? Shall I overtake?)
Those who ask questions from divinity never miss the road to their destiny.
God can be questioned but not threatened or conditioned
O Lord, how long?! – It is a cry for a change of level, status and condition
I began to study my bible, there are several personalities that came to a crossroad and asked the Lord that same question
In Psalms 4:2 – How Long?
Psalms 13:1 – How Long?
Psalms 13:2 – How Long?
Psalms 35:17 – How Long?
Psalms 74:10 – How Long?
Psalms 80:4 – How Long?
Psalm 94:3 – How Long?
Isaiah 6:11 – How Long?
Jeremiah 12:4 – How Long?
Jeremiah 29:28 – This captivity is long!
I PROPHESY – EVERY CAPTIVITY IN YOUR LIFE THAT IS MAKING YOU ASK THE LORD HOW LONG? TODAY THEY ARE OVER! X3
The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, for God is with me
And if God be for me, who can be against me?
He is the same yesterday; He is the same today, He is the same forever
He said let there be light and there was light
He wraps Himself in light as of with a garment
He shinneth in darkness and darkness couldn’t comprehend
He is my light! My salvation! My law giver! My way maker! My refuge! My fortress! My Strong tower! My Helper!
Somebody holla, Lord answer my questions today!
Listen: Until you ask God how long? You are not ready to attack the spirit of delay
Delay leads to spiritual slumber – Matt 25:5 NKJV
Delay sponsors doubt and spiritual rebellion – Ex 32:1
Prov 13:12 – Hope deferred makes the heart sick (See Prov 13:12 CSB – Hope delayed)
Prov 23:18 – For surely there is an end, and thine expectation shall not be cut off. (An end to what?)
Listen: Delay not handled leads to decay.
- Finally, until you ask God questions – your joy may not be full – John 16:24
Whenever you ask God sincerely with strong reasons, you challenge God to perform – Isa 41:21
Listen, never stop asking God questions, if you want to know His will for your life per time – Judges 6:12-13
Hab 1:2 – Habakkuk asked a question; Verse 5 God answered him but if you read from Verse 6-11 the answer wasn’t too pleasing so in V12 Habakkuk asked another strong valid question (Art thou not from everlasting, O Lord my God, mine Holy one?) And continued till Verse 17 and in chapter 2:1 he made a profound statement (I will stand upon my watch & watch to see what he will say unto me) in other words I won’t stop praying till I get another answer! and God answered again in Verse 2-3 – Write the Vision
Listen: Don’t stop asking till you hear the right answer from the Lord!
3 REASONS WHY THE LORD WILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS TODAY – PS 13:1-4
- To prove to you He hasn’t forgotten you – V1
- So that you don’t die before your time – V3
- So that your enemies won’t prevail against you and mock and rejoice over you – V4
1 REASON WHY HE IS NOT ANSWERING
Sin – Isa 59:1-2
PRAYERS:
Any sin that is hindering my prayers from being answered, Lord please forgive and have mercy on me in the name of Jesus
Prov 23:18 – I break the backbone of delay and every spirit of rejection and take my pending blessings now in the name of Jesus
Father in the name of Jesus, answer the questions of my life today and end my tears!
Hab 1:5, 1 Sam 3:11 – Father in the name of Jesus, do something in my life today that will shock my generation
