Our services are Christ centred and Word based. We focus on the teachings of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ by placing utmost reverence and emphasis on the person of the Holy Spirit, who according to John 14:26 is our Teacher in life and in study (Wednesday Mid-Week service – Fountain of Light), as our Helper according to Rom 8:26-27 in the place of prayer when facing issues of life (Friday Transfiguration Hour), and as an Advocate & Comforter to strengthen our faith and walk with God during our glory and power filled Sunday Light Feast service.
During our services, there is an opportunity to give an offering of any amount in support of the work of the church. This is an entirely voluntary expression of faith and gratitude which must not be done under any pressure. Regular members do enjoy giving as an act of worship to thank God for who He is, what He has done, still does and will continue to do in their lives. Know that any offering goes towards the work of the church to preach the gospel and to win souls into the body of Christ.

If you’re coming with children, be rest assured that our incredible and awesome VGC Kids team are committed to inspiring, teaching and encouraging children to happily and outwardly enjoy and express their love for Jesus Christ. Our kids’ team are caring, giving and they provide a lovely and rich learning environment for children to know and understand the Word of God.
You might be wondering what to wear when coming to a church service. It’s simple – come just the way you are and more importantly, wear an open heart to receive the life changing and light bearing words of God.

Our Light Center building is located at the western part of Amsterdam close to Plein ‘40-‘45. The nearest main train stations to connect from are Amsterdam Sloterdijk and Amsterdam Central station, while our Power & Prayer Center building is located at Almere. At Virginlight Global Church, we believe everyone is called to serve with their time, talents and gifts in different capacities hence we welcome people with various skills who are willing to serve in the house of God to make the work easier and progressive so our pastors can focus strictly on the word and people development as God has called them to do. So, we are calling on burden lifters, hand raisers, sound engineers, light specialist, keyboardists, vocalists, praise leaders, gifted men and women to come support the work of our Lord Jesus Christ.
