Sermon Recap

John 4:34

To begin and to start are not the same.

To begin life is in God’s hands but to start life is in your hands. To start is to find your purpose. -Jer 1:5

To begin is to be born but to start is to find purpose.

What you start is an intention you intend to finish.

Finishers are those the purposefully start and successfully finish.

The word FINISH in the Greek is the word TELEIOO and it literally means: To complete and to bring to an end. Jesus knew and understood this and said my meat is to do the will of Him who sent me, and to finish His work – in other words, my job is complete my Purpose!

He knew He had to start and finish His work and purpose on earth. He was very intentional about finishing.Listen: God is interested in how you start yet He is more interested in how you finish. Your finishing determines where you spend eternity. Be determined to finish well no matter the obstacles and challenges. Apostle Paul was an example of a determined finisher. – Acts 20:22-24

FIVE KEYS TO FINISH WELL – Zech 4:6-10

  1.  Divine affiliation with God
  2.  Grace (Vs 7) – Life without God is a race you can’t finish
  3.  Hard work (V 9) – The hand that refuse to work will produce a hard life
  4.  The Spirit (V 6) – Great finishers finish by the help of the spirit
  5.  Value/Honor for small beginnings – (V 10) – Never despise small beginnings. Sometimes great things come in small packages.

THREE FINISHERS & THEIR QUOTES

  3. You – The world is waiting for your quote, what will it be?

Listen: Anything you cannot take to your grave is not yours. Live full and die empty! That’s how to finish well on earth. Receive the grace and anointing to finish well in Jesus name. Amen
