Message: Watch & Pray – Pt 3

Last two weeks, we started a series titled watch and pray and I said to us that it is a sovereign call to Prayer & spiritual watchman-ship.

I SAID TO US THAT TO WATCH IN THE GREEK IS?

– Agrupneo – It literally means To be sleepless

– Gregoreuo – It means To be vigilant, to be alert

• To watch and pray is to become a spiritual vigilante – Isaiah 21:8
• To watch and pray is to become God’s security agent over territories/nations on earth
• To watch and pray is to systematically become God’s spiritual battle axe (iron sharpens iron)
• To watch and pray is to strategically position yourself in the place of prayer to hear His voice – Habakkuk 2:1

Listen: Prayer is a two-way street – the reason why many do not hear from God is because they don’t watch and pray.

• To watch and pray is to become God’s ambassador and mouth piece on earth – Ezekiel 3: 17

Listen: Men that watch and pray are carriers of God’s now word – they deliver heaven’s heartbeat to mankind!

Call upon me – A call to PRAYER

I will answer thee & show thee great & mighty things – A promise (Can God lie?)

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO CALL?

C –   COME

A – AT THE APPOINTED TIME

L – LINGERING IN MY PRESENCE &

L – LISTEN TO MY VOICE

Listen: In the place of prayer, the voice of God is more important than yours. Pray until God speaks!

Luke 9:35 – Jesus prayed until God spoke, this is my beloved Son, hear Him! 

THERE ARE 8 PRAYER WATCHES – 4 @ NIGHT AND 4 DURING THE DAY

These prayer watches are referred to as “PROPHETIC HOURS OF PRAYER OR GOD’S DIVINE PRAYER SYSTEM”. These are strategic hours of prayer that spiritual people take advantage of to ascend in the spirit. This was the secret of the men that walked with God in the bible:

1. THE 1ST PRAYER WATCH – 6PM-9PM

• This is the watch or hour of intercession & Restoration ­

2. THE 2ND PRAYER WATCH – 9PM-12AM

• This is the watch of Revelation & Spiritual knowledge

3. THE 3RD PRAYER WATCH – 12AM -3AM – The Most Important & Powerful Watch

• This is the watch of Spiritual warfare, judgement & deliverance

4. THE 4TH PRAYER WATCH – 3AM- 6AM – The Last Watch of the Night

This is the watch when you command & establish your day

5. THE 5TH PRAYER WATCH (6AM – 9AM)

• This is the watch/hour of spiritual empowerment and gifts activation

6. THE 6TH PRAYER WATCH (9AM – 12PM)

• This is the watch/hour of spiritual crucifixion of the flesh

7. THE 7 PRAYER WATCH (12PM – 3PM) – 6TH HOUR

• This is the watch/hour of spiritual preservation & abiding in the secret place -Ps 91:1-2, Ps 27:5
  

This is another high spiritual sensitive hour. It is another spiritual warfare hour because another realm of darkness covers the earth in the spirit. – Matt 27:45 Amp 

This is when what was done in the demonic world at night begins to manifest – Ps 91:5-6 (Also see AMP) 

Noon is the time to deal with whatever you couldn’t deal with, whatever escaped at midnight you destroy then from the secret place

• This is also the watch to intercede for lost souls to be won and redeemed

Christ was on the cross during this watch atoning for the sins of the world to redeem mankind and remember, it was also during this watch God showed Peter in a revelation about His redemptive plan for the gentiles. Acts 10:9-15 AMP 

8. THE 8TH PRAYER WATCH (3PM – 6PM) 9TH HOUR

• This is the watch/hour of sacrifice – Matt 27:46,50 AMP

• This is the time to take advantage of the sacrificial blood of Jesus -Rev 12:11
• This is the time to sacrificially rededicate your life to Him in the place of prayer

Listen: Jesus sacrificed His life at a specific time because He knows the time table of God. In order for your sacrifice to be accepted it must be offered at the right time!

Can I shock you? Elijah’s fire didn’t come down because of his prayer, it came down because of the strategic timing of his sacrifice – 1 Kings 18:36-38 AMP

According to Jewish tradition, evening sacrifice is offered when the sunset and guess what time it is? 3pm! – THIS WAS THE SAME TIME CHRIST SACRIFICED HIS LIFE! 

Elijah’s sacrifice was typology and foreshadowing of how Jesus’s sacrifice was going to restore men back to God!

• This is the hour to deal with the spirit of rejection – Matt 27:46
• This is the hour to enter the holy of Holies – Matt 27:50-51 AMP
• This is also the hour to place demands and receive ancient mantles – Matt 27:52-53 AMP
• This is also the hour of pray for manifestation – Act 3:1 AMP

You want to manifest God to your generation this is the hour to pray and show forth – This is the watch and hour we are in right now so everybody rise up and let us begin to PRAY! 

PRAYERS: -Victory is sure when we call on God

Father in the name of Jesus as I pray in this watch hour, I sacrifice my life to You

By the blood of Jesus, I overcome every works of the devil over my life and my family

Every spirit of rejection at work in my life, expire – Jesus was rejected for me to be accepted

In the name of Jesus, right now I receive ancient mantles to do the work of God and to fulfill my purpose on earth

By the power of the Holy Ghost, I must manifest for my generation to see in the name of Jesus

Father in the name of Jesus, we stand as spiritual watchmen and cancel the agenda of hell over the upcoming presidential elections in Nigeria. 

HINDERANCE TO PRAYER WATCHES

Father, forgive our sins and answer our prayers
